On December 19, 2012, the Accelerate Long Island Board unanimously appointed David Calone to serve as a Board member.
David Calone is the CEO of Jove Equity Partners LLC, a venture capital firm based in Suffolk County, New York that invests in and helps build technology companies in the internet, software, digital media, energy, real estate, transportation and health care industries.
Since 2008, Mr. Calone has served as Chairman of the Suffolk County Planning Commission and he is also on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Angel Network.
Dave Calone is a co-founder of the $750,000 Long Island Emerging Technologies Fund, which co-invests with Accelerate Long Island’s $500,000 seed fund in early stage high tech start-up companies.
